The
First National Bank of New Mexico
Headquartered
in Clayton, Union County, New Mexico.
The
First National Bank in Clayton was founded in 1964. In 1996 the bank
was renamed The First National Bank of New Mexico in preparation for
expansion to other New Mexico locations.
A
single office operated in Clayton until 1998 when the Raton branch was
opened. In 1999, branches in Logan and in Tucumcari were purchased,
and in the spring of 2003 we opened our Angel Fire branch.
With all of our expansion, we can still boast that we are locally
owned and operated.
We have experienced significant financial growth in the last five
years, mostly attributed to the opening of our branch offices. Our desire
is to maintain our community ties and provide state of the art banking
services with friendly personal service.
